【I Would Rather Kill You】

While the wearing of white roses was the way for artists to show solidarity with the #TimesUp movement at the Grammys,I Would Rather Kill You Lorde opted for words instead.

The New Zealand singer stitched an excerpt of artist Jenny Holzer's Inflammable Essayson the back of her dress instead of a white rose, which she posted on Instagram.

The excerpt Lorde wore on her dress, "Untitled (Rejoice!)", is a message certainly relevant in today's trying times.

"Rejoice! Our times are intolerable. Take courage, for the worst is the harbinger of the best. Only dire circumstance can precipitate the overthrow of oppressors," it reads.

"The old and corrupt must be laid to waste before the just can triumph."
