Joe Biden isn't afraid to be X-Deal (2011)straightforward when it comes to sensitive issues.
On Thursday, while campaigning for Hillary Clinton in Ohio, the Vice President's speech was interrupted by a protester who said his friends were killed during combat in Syria. Rather than having the protester removed, Biden listened and gave him a very unexpected and direct response.

Despite the attempts of supporters in the crowd to drown the man's voice out with "Hillary" chants, Biden quieted the room saying, "It's all right," and addressed the protester directly, explaining, "the deal was to get them into Manbij, and to work, was they go back across the Euphrates so we could have special forces move in. That's why."
When the protester fired back, repeating that his friends had died, Biden quickly responded with a surprising, "So did my son." Biden pointed to the man and gave him permission to meet him backstage after the speech to further discuss his concerns.
