Inspired by traditional Chinese painting techniques, the book features portraits of each character, accompanied by their name, a short poem, and a detailed backstory. The standard edition of Shadow Deity Illustrations is priced at RMB 159.2 ($21.72), while the deluxe edition is available for RMB 342 ($46.65). The pricing reflects the game’s connection to Journey to the West, a classic Chinese novel published in 1592 during the Ming Dynasty.
